Talkable sets the expiration date at 1 year from the creation of the discount list. 

For example, let’s say you launched your referral campaign on Dec 1, 2020. The discount list expiration will thus be set to expire on Dec 1, 2021. 


You may change it within your Shopify store → Discounts → Talkable discount list and set up any expiration date you wish, though we don't recommend restricting this to a duration shorter than 6 months.


If you want to allow only new customers to use coupons or apply any other coupon limitations, such as minimum order subtotal, you may do that within discount list settings.
