You can set up an "origins refund" API that will notify Talkable whenever а purchase has been refunded.

Talkable can subscribe to your refunds and update order statuses in the account accordingly fully automatedly. To learn more about this custom integration, please contact your CM/CSM.

Otherwise, you can manually check refunded customer emails in the CSP (Customer Service Portal) to mark them out for Talkable. Depending on your Advocate Reward Delay set up in the Fraud Settings, you’ll have some period of time to prevent refunded purchases from referral attribution. In the example below, the reward approval delay is 60 days, which allows processing friends’ refunds within 2 months after their purchase.

In case of a friend's confirmed refund, advocates will not be eligible to receive rewards for their friends. 

  1. Go to CSP

  2. Enter refunded client’s email

  3. Check if they participated in the referral as friends

  4. Hit “Refund” to withdraw them from the referral
