First, check if you have a coupon code auto-sync set up with us.
Go to the All reports -> Coupon Lists
Check the Auto Sync Enabled column value for the needed discount list
No worries if the status is “Yes”. Talkable will continue generating codes and syncing them with Shopify while scheduling a refill task to generate a set of codes in advance. This logic is triggered every time a coupon is issued, so some coupons will always be available for future rewards.
Note: Talkable uses a Shopify Price Rule ID (if present) to determine where to upload newly generated coupons. It is recommended to leave blank when creating coupon lists. If blank, Talkable will create a Price Rule based on coupon list configuration and store its ID in the coupon list. When you try to create a coupon list with a 100% discount or custom rules, you have to provide a Price Rule ID from your Shopify account manually. If the status is “No”, Open the discount list, hit Edit, and check the Enable Coupon List Shopify Auto Sync checkbox. Save changes. Congrats, it’s all set now!
4. Note: the list will not generate any coupons after creation. Auto-sync generates and uploads coupons when there is demand for them. Just wait until the first reward is requested from this coupon list. Alternatively, you can trigger the creation by creating a mock referral via Talkable admin (Referrals -> Create Referral Manually) and gain rewards as both Advocate and Friend.
